The autumn red color trend is everywhere right now. I love a pop of color but I prefer neutral tones and monochrome. I think grey is bright. So, the red color trend had me a little weary thinking I am going to look like the Kool-aid man.
I know I am not alone. I like my outfits to be as close to camouflage as possible. Let’s admit, red is such a classic bright color. It is sexy and cool and perfect for autumn.

Pick 2! Choose red jewelry, belt, shoes or a handbag, this is the easiest way to incorporate red into your wardrobe without stepping far outside of your comfort zone.
Pair red with neutral colors. I would not do red and black because the contrast is too strong and makes the red pop more but red and brown, beige, cream, blue or gray. These complimentary colors will mute the red a bit.
Go for a shade of red that suits your skin tone.
Chose fabric wisely. A knit red sweater has a completely different look then patent red. A skin tight red dress will have you standing out no matter what else you do.
