Where have I been? I miss one post and decide I am going to vanish for almost 2 weeks. Blogging is hard work and sometimes you get preoccupied and distracted with a million other things which has pretty much been everything happening on my end.

bite_my_fashion_night_museum_zurichI have some very exciting news… Hopefully I will be sharing it on the blog soon but for the most part everything has been rather normal. Summer is over rendering my Facebook and Instagram utterly grey.

I am already missing the photos by the pool and 10PM sunsets

Social media is so much easier in the summer no wonder all the my friends in Cali and Hawaii always look so happy! #NoFilter

So in light of epic #BlogFail this post is dedicated to how I will prevent SFD.

Seasonal Fashion Depression.

bite_my_fashion_missguided_black_high_slit_dressOn a serious note Seasonal Depression is a real thing but I feel like a lot of people like myself wouldn’t go as far as to say we’re depressed… Just extremely uninspired.

My hair has been in a pony tail for a week and I feel like during this time of the year I am a bear going into hibernation.

Kick the winter blues and fall in love with Fall/ Winter.

5 Things To-Do Before Winter

Try a New Fall/ Winter Hairstyle

I think a new look for winter is perfect, perhaps a little color to brighten up the usual black and grey that makes up a winter wardrobe. Sleek looks seem to be a hit this season.

Buy a Statement Piece

A bright coat will be my choice this season. I would love a yellow or blue coat. Something to pop and look classy at the same time. If you are not so ready to be bold with the coat try a fun hat and scarf combo or fun ear muffs.

Why wait until January to fail your New Year’s Resolution? If you start now you have time to make up for bad Thanksgiving/ Holiday decisions and you can even sneak off to celebrate somewhere warm and look great in a 2 piece while everyone else freezes with envy.

Buy Sock and Stockings

I really just don’t own any. My stockings look shredded after one wear so I always stock up. Tip, wear insulted tights under thick dark stockings and you will be warmer than if you wear pants.

How to Maintain stockings? Just in case you are like me…here

Go Out

Probably the hardest thing for me to do is to get dressed and go out… I know this sounds weird but I really get into the mood where I enjoy being home. I will force myself to socialize because I know I will not regret it. I encourage you to do the same.

Please leave any tips below if you can relate or have any great ways to stay active and stylish despite your own reservations.

  2. I feel the same way in the winter. I’m really sensitive to cold so I hate going out. Great tips though! xo

It’s true, blogging is a hard word and you did it well, doing other things in summer! I don’t have any tips for season depression 🙂 but you do look beautiful, not with season depression at all 🙂 I am looking forward to the news, soon!

You’re SO pretty!! Yeah, sometimes we all need a blogging break. Great tip on working out before NYE! I feel like people always make excuses for not living the life they want now and wait for milestones to try something again, so awesome advice! XO
