The District exploration comes to an end this week as I finally crossed off one attraction on my Washington, DC Bucket List. Every Friday from the end of May to August Jazz in the Garden takes over the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden. Hundreds, what feels like thousands of mostly young professionals and a few Washingtonian families flock in troves to sip sangria in the grass and every nook of the Sculpture Gardern. To be completely honest, Jazz in the Garden is more like Happy Hour then it is a Jazz Concert. It was oh, so hot so we were desperate find a bit of shade in between a few sculpture pieces. The mood was perfect and the drinks kept the heat manageable. The seats by the water were the fist to fill up and it is highly recommended you get to Jazz in the Garden early or you will have trouble finding a place to sit, the entry is free and you can purchase food, sangria, beer and wine. We listened to Jazz and played Heads Up (If you haven’t played, it is so fun! iphone app /android app)
As you all know I said you have to revamp your style every now and then and as you can see I am rocking a straighter and longer hairstyle than my ususal…what do you think? Do you prefer long or short hair for summer?
