This Monday I am still reliving the weekend. Bennie and I escaped the city for The Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Potresina. The experience puts me at a loss for words. From the view to the food every moment was nothing short of luxurious.
I have had the opportunity to stay at a few so-named 5 star hotels and grand resorts but nothing compared to the Kronenhof, the staff are beyond polite. The hotel manager greets every guest by name when you arrive and comes to speak to you at dinner. Every minor details is payed close attention to… but I will not spoil you with too much rambling today.
On Wednesday you will get the full inside scoop on the Kronenhof and all of Potresenia which is a gorgeous scenic town in the Engadin Valley outside of St. Moritz, about a three hour train ride from Zürich.
After breakfast we took a stroll through the hotel and admired the view outside the pool and spa area. I can’t wait to tell you all about the spa as well, they even offer babysitters and are very child friendly but with out cramping the style of us with out little ones.
It was an active weekend; packed an assortment of rain jackets, hiking boots, little black dresses and Christian Louboutins. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen a sneak peak of my look. A perfect mixture of sophistication and adventure.
I am wearing head to toe Zara. This outfit (with the exception of the shoes) was less than $100 CHF. As you al know my struggle to find great deals here in Switzerland I was very happy with these finds, you will be seeing this leather jacket all fall.
The weather was very cool in the mountains, I was so relieved to get out of the city heat.
