When you think Washington, DC you don’t usually think of Festival Fashion- Boho Chic doesn’t really jump into your mind but deemed the Most Powerful City in the World certainly affords a few amazing festivals to come thru the Capital. This weekend, for my birthday (I promise this is the last birthday post 😉 ) I attended Vinofest in NoMa.
Vinofest, obviously included vino; so as the wine poured we listened to magical musicians from Alison Carney to Quest Love. Donations of the proceeds went to support local non-profits and there were a lot of fun vendors out to support. I attended during the VIP early entry Happy Hours at 3PM with an open bar, I enjoyed a few great food trucks and restaurants; like $5 paella from Slate Wine & Bistro!
We also painted, did my own interpretation of a wine glass with my girls at the Paint Nite booth and then checked out the beauties over at Grip the Mat!
I was obsessed with some of the fellow bloggers that came out and looked fabulous; I had a chance to chat it up with Jen from CommeCoCo and Lacey from A Lacey Perspective There was a lot of inspiration and different takes on what to wear… I was honestly lazy in outfit choice because I am in the midst of packing for the big move and had a million other things to do on Saturday so I recycled one of my favorite looks.I wore a similar look once before in London- went to Hyde Park and High Tea. It was amazing.
