Grey knits are versatile, comfortable and stylish. A cardigan, sweater, skirt or dress; grey knit wear can be easily dressed up or down. I decided to dress these pieces up a bit and here is another favorite grey knit style of mine.
When I was younger I remember someone telling me woman over 30 shouldn’t wear short skirts. And at my tender age that made complete sense, I mean 30 was like dirt old… Now as 30 is excitingly creeping around the corner and I am pushing a baby stroller I find myself wondering how short is too short?
When Kim K.
was kept posing naked after she had North, the first cries were from people saying… “…but she’s a mom” so is the 30 Rule overshadowed by the Baby Rule?
I have no clue y’all.
Can I just be great in my mini skirt and knee high boots?
What is the other rule? Show your legs cover up your boobs and vice versa.
Oh, rules are meant to be bent a little.
I have for the most part retired this sexy grey knit outfit I wore to Art Basel a couple of years ago but today the skirt came out of retirement.
Grey Knit might as well be considered my sweat pants. I am trying to live in knits for the rest of the year. I want knit blankets and sweaters. Just give me it all!
So, while this look comes off as a bit done up, it is so comfortable. The shirt is loose and light but warm enough and while the skirt is on the shorter side it does not ride up.
Beware of fabrics on skirts that roll up as you walk because you will be pulling at it and adjusting all day.
These Strategia boots are my all time favorite so get used to seeing them a lot this fall and winter. They are on the expensive side but this a worthy splurge.
I got these for Christmas while I was pregnant and wanted sexy shoes that I could run errands in after my pregnancy. A shoe that is sexy and practical is worth the splurge because they are unicorns!
So let me know, are you a fashion rule follower? What is the most ridiculous rule you know? No white after labor day? No faded colors. No black with blue?
